Gradebook and a bug...
October 28, 2010 11:08 AM
Lead Instructors: Please utilize your "Gradebook" this week. It will show you the instructors performances in detail. It is a great tool to resolve any dispute because all records in the "Gradebook" are final and official. The Gradebook can be reached under "Manage Learning" tab. If you cannot see instructors under your supervision or if you find instructors who do not work for you any more, please contact CVTA. We will fix the problem for you. Below is how to use Gradebook:
  1. Click on Manage Learning tab
  2. Gradebook
  3. Click Search at the bottom
  4. Then a list of people will appear.
  5. Click > button on the left of each instructor to see her performance.
This function is available to Lead Instructors only. Lead Instructors can only check instructors under their own supervision. (Thanks to the key.)

Instructors: Please ignore the levels in your "My Transcript." It is a bug and we are working on it. Your level is strictly determined by the number of tests you have passed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Welcome to CVTA Testing Center
May 13, 2013 9:15 AM
Dear Instructors:

Because you are reading this page, you are dedicated to professionalism. Our Association thanks you for your commitment.

The CVTA Mike Byrnes Testing Center is named after a founder of the Association who is now deceased. During his life, Mike was a tireless, devoted advocate for professional truck driver training. He was involved for many years in developing training curricula and promoting driver training for all entry-level drivers.

The CVTA Instructor Certification Program was developed to assist you, the professional trainer, in learning better ways to convey the knowledge and skills that you already posses to your students.

As an Association, CVTA is committed to improving highway safety by providing entry-level drivers with the best possible education so that they will operate safely and be successful in their careers as professional drivers.

As you proceed through the Program, you will be working toward the designation “Certified Master Instructor.” In doing so, you will be joining hundreds of your colleagues nationwide that have already achieved the designation and display it proudly. We wish you luck in your studies, and our staff stands ready to help you in any way.

If you are already a Master Instructor, and returning to further your education as a “Certified Safety Professional,” we applaud the commitment that you have already shown, and wish you well as you work toward the next level of professionalism.
